International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer
In 1994, September 16th was designated as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. It commemorated the signing of the Montreal Protocol by the United Nations on this day in 1987. In honor of this glorious day, we at Marijuana Mythbusters are asking you to smoke as much weed as possible. While this may be contrary to something that may be friendly to the ozone layer, it has been scientifically proven (maybe) that marijuana smoke actually reinforces the ozone layer. However, it would be best to avoid driving your car as much as possible, take public transportation if necessary, and to not use aerosol products if you are considering being ozone friendly today. So, spark one (or more) up and remember the day.
This is Tuvalu. The most vulnerable country to climate change.
