Happy Danksgiving!  Here is a great Danksgiving turkey recipe.  You will need cannabis butter, for our recipe click this link.

You will need… 

1 medium turkey (about 12 to 15 pounds is good)

3/4 cup cannabutter (cannabis butter)

1/4 cup chicken/turkey broth

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon ground/rubbed sage

And, you will also need…

1 saucepan

1 turkey baster

1 turkey roasting pan

An oven would help too.

Start off by melting the cannabutter in a small pot (add additional pot if desired) over low heat and mix in remaining ingredients and spices. Stuff your turkey and season with salt, pepper, and other spices as desired. Now you will need to separate the skin of the turkey from the meat. Start at the butt end of the turkey, and work your fingers under the skin of the turkey, try to do this without breaking the skin if possible. Peel back the skin. Now, using a turkey baster, squirt half the butter mixture on  the meat. Pull back the skin, and squirt the turkey with the remaining butter mixture.  Cook the turkey according to your favorite method, basting with the remaining butter mixture every half hour until done.

Tetra Hydro Coleslaw (T.H.C.)

The tart flavor of lemon brightens up this coleslaw, while the heady flavor of the hash knocks you on your ass. This recipe yields 4 cups, serves 4-8 people.

 

Ingredients:

1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

4 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 gram kief or fine ground dry hash

4 cups shredded green cabbage

3 tablespoons grated sweet onion

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together garlic, sugar, lemon juice and mayonnaise until well blended. Sprinkle kief or ground dry hash over mayonnaise mixture and stir to combine the cannabis into the dressing. In a large bowl, toss together shredded cabbage and minced onion. Add dressing then toss to evenly coat the vegetables. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Let’s Make Cannabutter

If you are going to be baking with marijuana, you need to know how to make cannabutter. As we mentioned before in our Cinco de Mayo article, in order to activate the THC in marijuana to be able to get high from eating it you need alcohol or fat. Once you follow our steps below, you can use your butter just as you would in any recipe. You could melt it over pasta, put it in any baked good, put it on toast, or make a nice sauce for a steak.

Cannabutter at it's finest

So, let’s get stared. You are going to need a pot, a strainer, a stove, water, butter, and marijuana. We made sure to keep the instructions easy because more likely than not you’re stoned and can’t follow detailed instructions nor will you have the patience to read through them all.

1. Take the pot and place it on the stove. Pour enough water into the pot so that it is an inch deep, more is unnecessary, less is alright, you just need some water.

2. Bring the water to a boil. Then melt the butter by placing it in the water.

***Important*** Use one stick of butter for every quarter ounce of marijuana that you intend to use.

3. Once the butter is fully melted, put your marijuana in the pot. Make sure it is ground up or broken up like you we’re going to use it in a joint or a blunt. You don’t want it to be too small because you want to filter out the plant matter once it is all said and done.

4. Turn down the heat slightly, you want the mixture to simmer but not fully boil. You should let the mixture sit like this for 3 hours at a minimum, but longer is better. Then turn off the heat and take the mixture off the stove.

5. Pour the mixture through a strainer and into another container. The butter will solidify on the top, you can place the container in the freezer to speed up this process. Once the butter has solidified, pour out the water, and you’re done.

6. Lastly, use the butter and get high.

Reefer Recipes – Leary Biscuits

After posting the instructions yesterday on how to make green dragon, in our Cinco de Mayo post, we thought it would be nice to make a compilation of our favorite marijuana recipes. We added a new page to the site to accommodate them, and are looking for your help to fill it up. If you have any good recipes, go to the Reefer Recipes page and post them there. If there are any recipes you would like us to look in to, also post them there. For now we have one that is fairly simple and highly effective at getting you stoned.

Ingredients every kitchen needs

As we stated in yesterday’s post, the THC in marijuana can bond with fat and alcohol molecules. Green dragon uses alcohol to make the THC effective if eaten, but you can also use cheese which contains fat. If you are lactose intolerant, substitute peanut butter for cheese in the following recipe. If you are lactose intolerant and are allergic to peanuts, you are probably also allergic to marijuana and shouldn’t be smoking, eating or drinking it. Or, doing anything else with it for that matter. Maybe you could sell it, but where gloves and a mask for your own safety.

So, a little background on this recipe. They go by firecrackers or Leary Biscuits. I have no idea where the name firecrackers came from, but they are awesome and so are firecrackers, and that’s all we’ve got on that. The term Leary Biscuits, comes from Timothy Leary, the godfather of LSD and the Pied Piper of the psychedelic movement of the 1960′s and 70′s.

Half a second later, this was devoured.

To construct a Leary Biscuit, you will need the following things.

A box of your favorite crackers
Some of your favorite cheese, or peanut butter (PB)
Marijuana
Anything else you would eat with cheese and crackers

Now, that was easy. This is the part where it get’s tricky, for someone with now hands, everyone else should find this pretty easy.

1. Cover a cracker with cheese, or PB.

2. Grind up marijuana. Sprinkle a thin layer on top of the cheese, or PB.

3. Cover the marijuana with another layer of cheese, or PB

4. Place in an oven set to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, or microwave on high until the cheese is melted.

5. Wait until the cheese cools. This step is important because you are probably high, you probably have the munchies, and by now you really want to eat something. But, just wait.

6. Enjoy.

Since these are easy to make, you could serve these at a party. They are great if you have friends coming over to watch the game. Memorial Day is coming up, maybe you need a nice appetizer for your barbecue. The possibilities are endless.
